TEHRAN (Shana) – Iranian and Spanish companies have planned to hold the first joint oil and gas joint workshop between the two countries parallel with the 23rd Iran Oil Show in Tehran in May.

The workshop will be held on May 7, the second day of the oil show which is slated for May 6 to 9 at Tehran's permanent fairgrounds.

Spanish companies active in such fields as generator manufacturing, production of industrial valves, cooking towers, etc. will be represented at the workshop.

The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Capital Goods (SERCOBE) will also be represented at the workshop.

SERCOBE represents 120 companies and industrial groups, 4 collective members and 3 special groups, representing more than 400 Spanish companies. Founded in 1964, its membership is open to companies and groups concerned with the design, manufacture, and maintenance erection of capital goods.
